# wp-admin not opening

 * Hi everyone ,
    would like to know if you face this issue of a white screen appearing
   when you try to open wp-admin. I tried to fix it with removing the space at end
   of functions.php but that doesnt work too.. i am using the avada theme. please
   help !!

 * Please try disabling all plugins from FTP and see if it makes things any better.

 * Try [manually resetting your plugins](https://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)(
   no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one
   individually until you find the cause.
 * If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via [SFTP or FTP](https://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients),
   or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to `/wp-content/
   themes/` and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force
   the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (
   theme functions can interfere like plugins).

 * I am lost. I was working on the site, stopped for a week, went back to log on
   and my admin page shows up with my photo. I can’t find where the link would be
   to access the site!!!! I’ve done the wp-admin also the login extensions and nothing
   just the welcome page.

   i renamed the plugins folder to plugins.deactivate and i still get the white 
   screen

    Every 5 days
   i am experiencing the same kind of problem, today i have got this message :
