I spoke to my web hosting service as to when logging to wp-admin, it redirects it to “domainname.com/wp/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fdomainname.com%2Fwp-admin%2Findex.php&reauth=1“
The requested URL /wp/wp-login.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/2.2.19 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.19 OpenSSL/0.9.8e-fips-rhel5 DAV/2 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/220.127.116.1135 Server at domainname.com Port 80
The hosting provider checked all the files and said that they were all in the correct location on the server but couldn’t understand why this was happening. They told me to contact WordPress in hopes someone will have an answer. Can someone help me out?
