I've just installed Buddypress. I had to change permalinks to make the pages work. Now the pages are working, but the admin panel doesnt. I get a server error. What can be the problem??

Similar issue posted http://wordpress.org/support/topic/server-error-admin-bar-doesnt-display-after-buddypress-installed?replies=2 as well as in http://buddypress.org/community/groups/installing-buddypress/forum/topic/server-error-admin-bar-doesnt-display-after-buddypress-installed/

How did you install WordPress? Manually via FTP/FileManageer/etc. or via webhost's instant intallation script like Fantastico or something similar? Then I suggest you backup DB and server files and start from scratch. Install WordPress manually then import DB from your previous installation and upload server files.

Many issues abound when you use webhost's script to install WP and then add BuddyPress.
