WP Admin Bar and "edit page/post" missing from all bug 1 page

I’m baffled by this one.

This is the Empire theme by Woothemes, but they think its a WP issue.

Only 1 page in this whole build shows me the top WP admin bar when logged in. And all but this 1 same pages don’t have the edit option at the bottom of the page, so accept for this page, you can’t edit without going through wp/admin.

Please, does anyone have suggestions? I’ve disabled all plugins. I’ve changed it to 2011 and the same thing happens.

(Note: The only page that works is the subdirectory that the site sandbox was built under). This was added into the active menu by mistake. So, basically this tells me the beta build under a subdirectory is working properly but none others.
