# wp-admin

 * I have just transferred wordpress multisite to a different domain and hosting.
   Everything is working fine except the wp-admin
 * Usually I can just type [http://www.example.com/wp-admin](http://www.example.com/wp-admin)
   and it will add the trailing / automatically. But now it is going to [http://www.example.com/wp-admin.php](http://www.example.com/wp-admin.php)
   instead.
 * If I go to [http://www.example.com/wp-admin/](http://www.example.com/wp-admin/),
   everything works fine. My concern is that previously I don’t have to consistently
   add that trailing slash.
 * I have copy and pasted the .htaccess from [http://codex.wordpress.org/htaccess](http://codex.wordpress.org/htaccess)
   and it still doesn’t work.
 * Any help would be appreciated

 * Assuming that your .htaccess file is exactly like the “Basic WP” example at [http://codex.wordpress.org/htaccess#Basic_WP](http://codex.wordpress.org/htaccess#Basic_WP),
   this sounds like an Apache configuration made by your new hosting provider. I
   would start by contacting their support and describing the problem.
