 * Hi,
 * I use wordpress to update my blog. However, since a few months, I can’t login
   on my admin page.
    I’ve thus contacted a lot of IT people. They told me that,
   in the end, the best thing to do would be to recreate a blog identical to mine
   with a website builder. I own the domain name of my blog (it’s registered on
   godaddy). As I can’t use the wp-admin page for my blog, I was wondering if it
   would be possible to have another admin page that I could use either:
 * – to update my current blog, i.e. instead of going to nameofmyblog/wp-admin,
   I would go to nameofmyblog2/wp-admin.
 * – to create a new blog which would have the same domain name.
 * Thanks a lot.

 * Did you follow the advice in [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/login-wordpresscom?replies=2](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/login-wordpresscom?replies=2)

 * The login issue is not a password problem. It’s in fact due to a plugin.
 * We thought that we could remove the plugin by going into the filesystem of the
   blog, using the FTP credentials. However, it looks like the IT guys can’t remove
   it as there is too much data and that there is no search function (I quote).

   So they said the last solution would be to try to reproduce an identical version
   of the blog by using a website builder. As mentioned before, my domain name is
   registered on godaddy but we used wordpress to update the blog. I would like
   to know if it would be possible to have another admin page which I could use
   to either update my blog or that I could use to create a new blog with the same
   domain name (considering that we would have to delete the current blog)?
 * Thanks a lot.

 * All they need to do is [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients) into your
   site (or whatever file management application your host provides) & delete the
   relevant folder inside wp-content/plugins. If they don’t know which plugin is
   causing the problem, they could just [reset the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or PhpMyAdmin.

 * I’m afraid that’s not possible.

 * Yes, I’m sure there is a way to remove the plugins.
 * Anyway, thanks a lot for your responses.

 * And I outlined those methods in my post above.
