A client recently updated their WordPress version to 5.3 and began to have issues with printing shipping labels. When a product is purchased and we go to orders, create the shipping label, and select the box an error box pops up on the top right stating there was an “Unexpected Server Error”. I tried enabling the WooCommerce logs and debugging however, the logs remain empty even when I test the shipping label once again. Any ideas on what could be going wrong?

    Hi there,

I just tested creating shipping labels with WP 5.3 on my dev site, and I’m not seeing the same error. The particular error message that you mentioned appears to be related to parsing an API response on the front end, so the JavaScript console and Network monitor in your browser’s dev tools may reveal further debug clues.

If you can you create a ticket with WooCommerce support so we can look into helping further with the particular site: https://woocommerce.com/contact-us/

We haven’t heard back from you on this thread in a while. I’m assuming you have opened a ticket on WooCommerce.com, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.

    Hi Fernando and Chris,

Yes thank you I was able to figure out the issue with the assistance of one of the support staff. The issue was GoDaddy blocking the request in case anyone else viewing this thread has the same issue.

    Thanks!
