Unless you have a backup that you can restore from, downgrading is a dangerous process, which is why backing up before upgrading is strongly recommended both in the upgrade instructions and automatic upgrade interface.
It would be better to solve your current problem, though as that is a commercial theme, we ask that you please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product.
Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, contacting Elegant themes for help is not an option. My membership has long expired and they are unable to provide assistance to non-members. The problem never occurred until I updated to WP 4.3 so the problem reasonably falls on WordPress. I cannot leave my site as it is, I would greatly appreciate help from WP as their product caused this problem.

Can you check to see if there’s a newer version of the theme available?
The volunteers who build WordPress can’t check the tens of thousands of themes and plugins that are out there. Rather, it’s the theme and plugin developers who are responsible to test their products during the few months of public testing before release.
