It happens in 90% tries but eventually i manage to upload that file. * I’ve tried probably everything i’ve found about that error (different plugins, https hacks, wp config hacks, php hacks,…) but nothing helped me. * Strange is that occasional everything works fine. I manage to upload hundreds images in a few minutes but next time it keep hanging (probably while crunching images) and giving that error. * I’ve noticed slides going forward and backwards a few times before it finish or give that error (i will try to explain that…coming for example to 80% than returning to 20% than back to 60% and than again back to 20% and so around). * Hope someone have some ideas as i spend hours uploading images instead a few minutes in last days. Only after 5 minutes or sometimes even more it give HTTP error. Error message : ERROR 500 – Internal Server Error! The following error occurred: The requested URL caused an internal server error. If you get this message repeatedly please contact the webmaster. To resolve this edit : etc/apache2/mods-available/fcgid.conf and add or edit the line “MaxRequestLen 15728640″ to set the Request Limit to 15MB. So, if you have special characters in the naming of your images, you will get this HTTP error.
