WP 4.01 cannot see my themes

    I noticed that when I upload themes to the wp-content/themes folder, they don’t show up in the control panel at all and there’s no way to activate them.

    I’ve been running a wp site for years and this was how I did it all the time. With 4.01, I don’t even see the theme previews appearing.

    Am I doing something wrong?
