WP 3.8.1 Set featured image not working, no images showing

    The Set Featured Image thing used to work… but I think after I upgraded to 3.8.1, it stopped working (though not positive).

    When I click it, it loads the popup, but none of the previously uploaded images are loading.

    Then, when I click upload, it uploads the photo, I can change the details (title, description, etc), then I click “Set Featured Image”, and the window closes, but nothing is happening.

    So, there is definitely an issue that wasn’t there before…

    1) No images show when I go to the media library from within a post… when I go to Media >> Library from the sidebar menu, all of the images, including the ones I uploaded with Set featured Image, all show fine.

    2) The Set Featured Image isn’t functioning.

    Things I have already tried to fix it:
    — Disabled all plugins
    — Used the default theme
    — re-installed 3.8.1

    Any ideas??

    Could this be related to the server where the website is hosted?
    everything works fine using the same setup, wp version and database but another host.

    If so, what would be the options?

    Did you try setting up a new install of WordPress on a separate subdomain? That would help us narrow down whether it’s a server configuration issue or a site-specific one.

    I am also having the same issue since the upgrade. Old images are not showing but new images will show as a featured image. Rather than download, change the name and re-upload every image i’m still searching. Will post here if i get a result.

    Bump for this. Spent all night looking around but the only solutions proposed is to re upload everything.

    i have problems with featured images too!

    everything is how sould be.. after upgrading wp to 3.8.1 images not working! 🙁
