 * I am not sure what version of wp I am using, but i think it’s 3.3.1. I have 3
   wp sites. I was on one updating a post. I hit the “save” button and then got
   the “Failure To Connect To Web Server” error message- not just for that website,
   but for all 3 of my wp blogs. If I shut down the computer and power it back up,
   I am able to get to my website and sign on to the admin page, but I can’t go
   any further without getting the “Failure to Connect to Web Server” error.
 * Anybody got any tips on how I might address this?

 * Try contacting your hosts and/or your ISP.

 * It seems that the common denominator is WP. How would this be a ISP problem?
   I am just trying to understand. All my sites come up until I sign into WP. At
   that point, they are no longer available.

 * Because you cannot even reach the web server. That’s waaay outside of WP’S control.
   It’s a hosting or network/connection issue.

 * Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s
   folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name
   using [FTP](http://codex.wordpress.org/FTP_Clients) or whatever file management
   application your host provides.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or phpMyAdmin.
 * – re-uploading all files & folders – **except** the wp-content folder – from
   a **fresh** download of WordPress 3.3.1.

 * Thanks, I will try that.
