WP 2.7.1 Visual Editor link adding bug

When I highlight text and try to convert them into links, the screen goes gray and a dialog box pops up, but the dialog box is also gray, and impossible to interact with; I’m forced to add links by means of manual HTML. But most annoying of all is that the dialog box is impossible to exit out of; hitting escape won’t work, and hitting the X for closing the dialog box won’t work either. The only way out is to close the window.
