I already reported this bug and I have still the same problem with the new 2.6.1. upgrade (which was supposed to address the issue):
The "Previous Entries" link at the bottom of main index doesn't take you to page 2, because it adds another 'Index.php' to the url and therefore yields a 404. If you type it manually, it works, and then the behaviour to page 2 and 3 and so on is correct. But this isn't what we want. Is it?
Permalink structure: index.php+year+month+postname
I added the category and tag base, I read all the threads concerning this issue. And still not working. I thought that the upgrade to 2.6.1 would do the trick but it didn't. And I don't want to use the default permalink structure (which is when previous entries link works great) because it's worse for my readers and search engines.
Is this a WP problem or something related to the server where my blog is hosted (this wasn't happening in 2.3 version)?
I'd appreciate if I got some reply this time (since I didn't last time I posted on this),
