[resolved] WP 2.0.3 Comment Numbers not Updating (7 posts)

    I just upgraded my blog to WP 2.0.3 and now the comments number isn't updating in my posts. For example, my current post says it has 8 comments (which is what it had before I upgraded) even though several comments have been submitted after the 8 count. How can I fix this?

    Here is the code snippet I'm currently using in my template:

    <?php comments_popup_link('Leave a Comment ', '1 Comment ', '% Comments '); ?>

    There was an issue with Spam Karma (plugin) I read about, using that one?

    Yes, I am. Oh no, what am I going to do about spam if I have to disable it?

    Do you know how to fix the comment count? I tried disabling spam karma then refreshing the page, but the comment count is still stuck at 8.

    Thanks so much Yosemite.

    Apparently there's a fix. Check here (scroll down):

    (first fix, for SpamKarma, is to get the latest version!)

    HandySolo, ok I just upgraded to SpamKarma 2.2 r3. Now what am I suppossed to do?

    According to this link
    I don't need the fix for SK2 commenting errors with this version. So how do I fix the comments that are already off?

    On this thread Dr. Dave says to "follow the instructions above" for fixing the comment count, but which instructions? It seems like everyone who posted had a different opinion.

    Thanks so much.
