WP 2011 How to remove grey borders from pictures ?

  • Dear all,

    I am trying to remove the grey borders from my pictures, but unfortunately without any luck yet. In child ccs I have the following (last two paragraphs):

    }
    #site-description {
    color: #7a7a7a;
    font-size: 14px;
    margin: 0 270px 0.65625em 0;

    img[class*=”align”],
    img[class*=”wp-image-“],
    #content .gallery .gallery-icon img {border: none;}

    But, like I said, the grey borders are still there. Any advice?

    Thanks!

    Maud

    you need to close this style with a curly bracket } otherwise the style following after it will not get applied:

    #site-description {
    	color: #7a7a7a;
    	font-size: 14px;
    	margin: 0 270px 0.65625em 0;

    Thanks! That did the trick!

    Do you also know how to remove the small text at the left top of each page? It think it is old content from google sitemap. I removed the plugin and removed some files in the directory, but the text is still there. For example: http://www.shoelala.nl/shop/. I want to remove the text ‘shop’.

    that seems something you introduced into the template;

    this is what i see in the html in the browser:

    <div class="banner">
    Shop<div>

    this is just after the line with <div id="main"> and before <div id="primary">

    therefore it could be either in header.php at the end; or in index.php at the start.
