WP 2.0 dashboard not loading and paragraph tags stripped

I’ve come across two problems after upgrading to WP 2.0, the first is that the dashboard remains empty when I log into the admin. It always worked before so not sure what went wrong there …

The other thing I’ve noticed and is quite annoying is that all paragraph tags are apparently stripped from my posts when I upgraded the database from 1.5. I know have to manually get those back in or find an easy way to reimport the original post table data.

Any thoughts on this? Thanks!
