We appreciate both. 🙂 * 1) Yes, we do advise using full page for the My Account page. The rest depends sometimes on the theme. But we are always open to suggestions. We are aware that there is a lot of room required for the My Account page. * 2) Thanks for the suggestion of giving the option to leave default text blank if no content. We accept suggestions on our forums where we have placed a forum specifically for that purpose. Feel free to post there. It is much easier for us to keep track of over there. * 3) If you wouldn’t mind being more specific on your suggestion about having more shortcodes in our Suggested Features forum, it would help us to understand what it is you are wanting to accomplish. * 4) Our features are considerably different from Buddypress. First we don’t show the same layout for the My Account page as we do for the View Profile page. However, considering your comment, I would suggest that if you haven’t yet done so, search our forums for the different uses of the shortcodes related to the My Account page. There are only four tabs that cannot be removed. And that is all done via shortcode. * A user Dashboard is exactly that. And it can only be viewed by the specific member. How else would you suggest it be laid out? Please post it in our Suggested Features forum. * 5) “Settings” and “My Account” (which may be renamed at some point) are on a different tab for a very good reason. Settings are just that. We will be enhancing this tab, but currently it is where the change password feature is. The “My Account” tab is exclusively for giving the option for members to delete their account. We do not wish to mix the two simply because some people can confuse the button that deletes their account with a save button. And, if admin does not wish to allow members to delete their account, the shortcode option can remove that tab. This is an intentional decision we made. * 6) My Orders and My Purchases have two different purposes. We have begun integration with Woocommerce and My Purchases allows tracking of orders placed via Woocommerce. My Orders has only to do with membership purchases. We are currently discussing a few alternative options for use of the tabs. As you may know, this project is evolving and we are open to suggestions. I guess I don’t need to tell you where you can submit those.. lol * 7) Yes, the topic of more granular control of membership plans has been raised and we are making decisions about that. We currently have the options to protect content based on membership plans. * 8) I’m not sure if we are going to consider combining video, galleries and posts into one tab. That seems to be quite a lot to place on one tab. But if you would like to explain that a little further in our forum, we would sure give it some thought. * 9) To my knowledge, the plugin doesn’t show Pages created in the My Posts tab. Have you seen new pages showing up in the My Posts? * I believe that should cover most of what you have provided in the critique. We appreciate you taking the time to provide your point of view. We welcome you to expound where we have provided a place to do so. I don’t really understand where this particular topic should be continued here in the WordPress.org Support Forums, as there isn’t anything that you seem to be having a problem with.
