    Would like to request a few small enhancements.

    1. Add the ability to select to only add the footer on certain pages/posts/custom posts, by displaying a list of these pages/posts and allowing checkboxes so we can add the footer to selected pages only. (including an option to display the footer on the search results page (or not), category pages (or not), etc.

    2. And/or to added the ability to say .. add to all pages .. except for those selected. Kind of a reverse of 1., but this would allow someone to only select the pages/posts, etc., that they don’t want the footer to appear on.

    3. The ability to select (using a paint bucket option) to select the background color for the entire footer area .. and for the text color .. and for the color of any links in the footer.

    Thanks for your suggestions.

    For 1) and 2) I would recommend using the Widget Logic plugin or the “visibility” module in JetPack plugin as this you allow you switch the footer widgets on and off as required. I do not want to add the exact same functionality that is already available in other plugins

    For 3) there are custom classes changing the text color to fit well with the background that is supplied by the theme. However, there is nothing right now to change the background color. I will look into adding optional color pickers for background and text colors in the Footer Copyright widget

    Sorry about the typos in the last response. I submitted it by accident before I had reviewed. Here is the final copy:

    Widget Presence

    For 3) there are custom classes (dark, light and white) in the Footer Copyright Widget for changing the text color to go with the background color that is supplied by the theme. However, there is nothing right now to change the background color. I will look into adding optional color pickers for background and text colors in the Footer Copyright widget.
