Support » Plugin: Solid Security – Password, Two Factor Authentication, and Brute Force Protection » Would like to change admin user id back to 1, but…

  • Hey there,

I installed this plugin and everything seemed to work perfectly. My admin name isn’t “admin” btw. But the user account was of course id=#1, but with BWPS I’ve let it change to another ID. Due to many reasons like being unable to change several setting WITHOUT being user #1, i’t like to change the admin user ID back to #1.

How can I do this? And: Why isn’t there an option to undo this setting in BWPS?

  • I’ve changed the admin user id from 1 on several installations and it has had no effect on access to any WordPress admin only settings.

That being said, you can access your WordPress install’s database and manually edit the admin user’s ID.
