  • Resolved WebDeb

I hope you find this question interesting and sort of fun.

On the last couple of days of the month, a client site keeps hitting the limit for the “number of views” allowed for their privacy policy banner. If they could reduce the number of views per month by just a bit, the nag to up the subscription would go away.

This client work is hyper-local. They have Wordfence free installed. My idea is that a lot of views are not real traffic. If we blocked some traffic from around the world via country blocking, they would solve the view limit problem plus get the advantages of Wordfence Pro.

This of course depend on how-it-works. Does this logic sound correct?

Hello @sillymoney and thanks for reaching out to us!

If you view your Tools > Live Traffic, you should be able to see what countries are hitting that page. If you are seeing a ton of traffic from a specific country, then your theory would work.

However, Country Blocking is a premium feature, and we aren’t allowed to discuss any of the premium features here as per forum rules.

If you have any questions regarding the premium version feel free to put in a support ticket at or for more information contact presales @ wordfence . com.

You can contact them there and test your theory as well!
