I really like this plugin and would totally buy the Pro version if it weren’t for the fact that you must repurchase annually in order to continue to receive updates. This is terribly inconvenient for developers who deliver to a client. You really can’t expect the client to stay on top of plugin renewals. This caused us to buy where we usually do, CodeCanyon, which does not require annual repurchases to continue receiving updates. I think you have a really great plugin and hope you will reconsider your policy regarding updates.
    Thanks

    Hi @pecktron2000,

thank you for your valuable feedback. To be honest we have been thinking about the same in the past several weeks and your reason pushed us over the fence and we made the decision for a change. We have created two plans and each of them contains updates forever, so it can be used on client’s site without hassle. The main different between the plans are the domain license, the support period. Also the bigger package includes the installer for all platforms.

    Smart Slider 3 – Pricing

What do you think about the new pricing?

    Best Regard,

I think the new pricing is totally fair. I’m glad you have reconsidered. I have found Smart Slider 3 to be one of the most (if not the most) user friendly and feature rich sliders for WordPress. I have tried many. I wish I had written you last week as I had to make a final decision on which slider to go with. I would have much preferred to use Smart Slider instead of the one I ended up buying.
