We apologise for the inconvenience caused to you. However, the free version is meant for small shop owners who use only simple products in their inventory.
The premium version is meant for businesses having a whole range of products. Based on this understanding we have segregated the free and premium. If you have an suggestions for us, do let us know. We would be glad to help.

I did get the site i was working on to meet the persons needs but most time is wasted trying plugins that wont do what it brags about unless we pay! Maybe put warning that is is only for simple and not variable unless pay for pro in BIG RED letters at top so we can keep on going to next possible plugin.
I do not know why WP doesnt let us filter out Pro/paid or free only plugins to save us time.
OLD outdated plugins are pain too but that gripe doesnt apply here…lol I tried a few old ones and wondered why they did not work….duh…then i saw they were 3 years old! I get in hury and dont notice. 🙁

Although we have mentioned in our product page that this is only for simple products – “Supports all types of Simple Products”, however, we understand your problem. In future, we will surely try to make this more prominent and hence prevent such accidental scenarios.
