 * There’s a whole **pile** of missing elements (_from zero height carousels to 
   missing fontawesome icons)_ throughout my dev site when critical CSS is turned
   on.
 * Is it even worth going through trouble shooting or is Jetpack Boost not really
   appropriate for this type of architecture?

   Jetpack Boost out.
 * I would be happy to investigate what’s gone wrong with Critical CSS on your site.
   I’ve successfully used Jetpack Boost with Elementor, and I don’t believe the 
   two are incompatible.
 * Could you please let me know the URL of your site – and in particualr, the URL
   of page(s) that you saw issues on when Critical CSS was enabled?

 * You don’t need to enable Critical CSS again for us to start investigating the
   issue – we can run the Critical CSS generator against the public HTML of your
   site to check the result for issues without affecting your site.
