  • 1 Star – Because WordPress have the minimum 1-star rating.

I will not recommend this plugin at all.

If at any point you will stuck. You have to recreate the project using another page builder because Elementor’s support team will not even reply to your comment.

  • Thank you or your honest opinion. I’m a bit surprised that it is so negative. I see that Elementor has 643 5-star reviews and 19 4-star reviews, and only 19 1-star and 6 two-star reviews. So your experience with them seems to be unusual.

    Hi Sourabh,

I am not Elementor support, just an enthousiatic user that tries to help out whenever I can. To be honest I saw your support question, read it, but decided there was not enough information to even begin to try and figure out what causes this.

First of all, this is a free ( awesome ) plugin, and I for one do not feel “entitled” to get free support, for what probably is caused by some conflict or custom code you are using. We all have to quess, because you did not follow these steps as required to get support:

    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/please-read-before-you-post-an-issue/

I suggest you start by adding all that information into your support post https://wordpress.org/support/topic/tablet-version-is-not-working/

    Hi Sourabh,

Just read your thread, and can’t add that much to Annie’s response: But I do feel that it *is important* that we make an effort in our support requests, to get as clear and as specific as we can, so that support folks have something they can go on. Sometimes that is difficult. The way are judging Elementor support is not going to entice them to bend over backward – as it is part of the territory that plugins can have compatibility issues.

Elementor, and their support, have been very effective for me, and I give them the highest ranking.

I think your response to Sourabh is both very wise and very kind.

I came to the conclusion that the problem which led me to post the question Sourabh replied to was exactly what you mentioned — some conflict or custom code issue. Since I was just starting out with the main menu, it was fairly easy to just go to a generic theme, choose the “canvas” page in Elementor, and rebuild the little bit I had already done. It took minutes. I might have spent days trying to figure out a custom code conflict, or maybe never would have.

Please keep posting your sensible and helpful comments. I use the paid version of Elementor, and I like it a lot more than the two previous page builders I have used.
