    It’s a shame that I have to stop using this plugin, but I can’t spend 90% of the website update time just trying to import the events. I have over 150 entries, and I’m not willing to input them one by one every time I have to rebuild the website from scratch.

    Other plugins export and import without any issues, but this one keeps adding more restrictions.

    First it was the translations (fixed), then the design of the EventCard (not fixed, though interestingly it works perfectly in the paid version), and now the event export doesn’t save all the data properly (missing locations, organizers, etc.)

    It’s a headache, when years ago it used to be the best event plugin.

    Sorry but goodbye.

    Hello,

    Are you referring to the full version of the plugin or Lite version? In order to import events you need to use CSV Importer add-on which only works with the full version.

    Could you let us know more about “…then the design of the EventCard…”? What kind of issues do you have?

    Hi,

    The issue is described in the link https://wordpress.org/support/topic/error-translating-or-importing-language/ and from the responses, I can see I’m not the only one. It doesn’t change the configuration of the order, custom fields, etc. and doesn’t show the whole information.

    I was able to confirm the differences thanks to a colleague who has the full version (and the CSV Importer addon as well), and he’s experiencing the same problem with the import, although he doesn’t need it at the moment.

    Obviously, I’m referring to the Lite version: it exports a CSV with errors. The full version exports the “location_address” field twice but then doesn’t import it, nor does it import several related fields.

    Thank you for letting us know about location_address issue! We are going to fix it ASAP.

    I contacted Ashan about EventCard issue as well. He’ll fix it as well.

    In case it helps, when exporting the Events CSV, there are some field names that are incorrect:

    • ‘event_location’ is exported as ‘location_address’ (duplicated).
    • ‘evcal_location_link’ is exported as ‘location_link’.
    • ‘evo_location_id’ is exported as ‘location_tax’.
    • ‘event_organizer’ is exported as ‘organizer_name’.
    • ‘evcal_org_exlink’ is exported as ‘organizer_link’.
    • ‘evo_organizer_id’ is exported as ‘organizer_tax’.
