I was after something that would allow for animations while still retaining the existing cursor. However, this outright replaces the entire cursor. I then had issues after de-activating the plugin where some pages still retained the modified cursor. In the end, I had to do a database restore to fix it. As a result, please ensure you have a backup of your site to hand before applying this plugin.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience you experienced. The issue after deactivating the plugin has now been fixed in version 1.7.12, and everything should work correctly.

Currently, the “Animated” cursor type replaces the default cursor by design, though other cursor types has an option inside the Advanced tab to enable or disable the default cursor. We understand the requirement to retain the existing cursor when using the Animated cursor and will consider adding this option in a future update.

Thank you for your patience and for sharing your feedback.
