• This works well and has done for me for a few years. If you actually develop code and share the same distribution, though, it could do with a minot tweak to avoid same file names being cached. Just an append of something like ?nocache=rndnumber834738 to the end of the url. The alternative is to push out new files with version numbers and update all your links etc, which is a pain. I’m finding users are downloading files that are not the current version, yet when I give them the same file from the download directly, they get the new one. The query append on the end of the url tends to avoid this, I think.

    In regards to your issue, are you using a cache plugin in your site? If you are, have you tried excluding the the page or post in question from getting cached?
