Love the plugin! Only drawback is when working with staging sites. Let me explain. At our company we use staging sites to test all plugins, add web pages, content, etc and then push the site live from staging. We encountered issues with the plug-in when I was trying to take a backup of the live site and push it onto the staging. Updraftplus considers this a ‘migration’ so you have to get the premium version in order to do this. The reason is because the URLs are different. Staging is a subdomain. While we will likely be purchasing the paid version soon, this would have been nice to know before I spent a lot of time taking backups. Because now I have to pause the work I’m doing, figure out how to work this tool into our budget, and then pick up where I left off.
