Support » Plugin: Contextual Related Posts » Works out of the box, easy to customize

  • This worked like a charm on my blog with custom post types, a woocommerce shop (although I disabled that to keep free content and paid content in their own worlds) – this plugin delivers related content across the whole site and allows me to choose what to include – which is exactly what I wanted. A lot of backend layout options too, which is nice.

    Doesn’t seem to slow down the page load time like some similar plugins – for that I am thankful. Nice to have built-in caching. Easy to customize via some quick CSS inserted into my child theme’s stylesheet… nice that it comes with a custom css box though, for those who don’t have a child theme already set up.

    Thanks for your work with this plugin – I appreciate it! I’ve posted a credit on the bottom of my About page with a link to this plugin page; if you would prefer a different link or some other way of crediting, I’m happy to change it up.

    I’m happy to report that this plugin has helped me reduce bounces and creates a nice way to continue browsing from post to post – still working great. I’ve had a lot of nice feedback about that feature – really can’t thank you enough!

    I have a habit of donating some cash to free plugin developers which have proved very useful to me – would you happen to have a way for people to give you donations? I’d like to chip in, every little bit helps. Thanks again!

    Nevermind – I found it! Thanks again – happy coding!

    Hi Laura,

    do you test it with woocommerce to show similar products under blog post and reverse similar blog posts under products? 🙂

    I use this plugin since over a year on normal sites without shopsystem and search for something like this.

    @pictibe Hi Florian!

    It works with woocommerce very nicely, and does allow you to cross woo posts with your regular blog posts. It’s free, and has been running solid on my site for a while now – give it a try and see if it works for your build.
