    Hi,
this is true for every website, even sites like google.com.
    Cheers,
    Arne

so what does that mean? do we get to see the favicon on the Chrome and Firefox browers? or are you saying we just have to live with the fact that the favicon doesn’t work?

BTW– here is my url: http://www.nybhair.com
the favicon all in one is not working…won’t show up in browser
    please help.
    Thanks

    Hi,

no, it means that the favicon is always only displayed in the tab, never in the address bar.

your theme brings along it’s own favicon, and that’s what’s displayed correctly when I go to your site:
    <link rel="Shortcut Icon" href="http://nybhair.com/wp-content/themes/lifestyle/images/favicon.ico" type="image/x-icon" />

You did upload a custom favicon with the plugin, but all browsers except FireFox will ignore that.
The correct favicon is displayed on my FireFox, but Chrome uses the one that your theme brought along.

    Cheers,
    Arne

Here are screenshots from another support thread so you know what I mean:

Favicons are displayed in the tab, not in the address bar in FireFox and Chrome.

    Cheers,
    Arne
