Works on one site, but not the other

Hi,
I downloaded this plugin for both of my websites.

For the first site (http://vohafrica.com) I changed the permalinks from:
/%postname%/
to:
/blog/%year%-%monthnum%-%day%/%postname%/

And set up the Custom Redirect using this plugin and it works perfectly (yay!!)

On my other site (http://liberonetwork.com)
I changed the permalinks from:
/%postname%/
to:
/%category%/%postname%/

And set up the Custom Redirect using this plugin and it doesn’t work at all!

Any idea why this is? I’ve noticed there aren’t really responses to other forum questions here but I’d really appreciate some help! I love the idea of this plugin and what a life saver when it works but I’m puzzled why it’s not working for both my sites….
