Support » Plugin: WooCommerce » Works okay if you pay

  • If you are trying to build a half decent website for yourself then you get forced into purchasing a lot of WooCommerce/Automattic (or affiliate) developed plugins. You could use third party plugins that are cheaper or potentially free, but the free ones often come with little to no support and the paid ones can still be lacking in support, which is frustrating when there is a conflict. Plugins almost always require some form of customization to get them to work with your theme the way they should. If you are creating a basic website consisting of a couple pages and a few products so that your business has an online presence then WooCommerce will do the job, but bare in mind that if you are wanting to have a long term, professional e-commerce business with a full catalog of products then expect to pay the price, especially if you have to hire developers to assist you.
