Naomi has done a great job with this plugin. I really like it and my clients love having such a simple and low cost way to take online payments.
a couple issues have come up and Naomi has been very responsive but i’d like to share some pointers:
- The plugin won’t allow editing of products into a form unless you add your API keys. The instructions clearly say to add them at the start of the process but I assumed I could manage products on a dev server without adding API keys.
- I had an issue with product $ amounts multiplying by 10 on their own – a simple plugin update (stripe plugin) fixed it but that update turned off the stripe plugin and I didn’t notice. Payment form was later submitted and client didn’t notice that payment didn’t actually go through – it would be ideal if the notification email can actually include the approval notice
also, you need to sync the GF and this plugin version numbers. just now i updated to GF 1.7.13 and i got this error:
Fatal error: Class ‘RGForms’ not found in /home/pacificala/public_html/wp-content/plugins/gravity-forms-stripe/includes/GFP/Stripe/class-gfp-stripe.php on line 4094
i rolled GF back to older version and had to turn off my other GF plugins in order to turn on GF again. The form is working again.
