Support » Plugin: WordPress HTML » Works for me

  • I needed some way of adding raw HTML to a page/post with the functionality of retaining the HTML code when a client wants to make changes to the page/post, which they will most likely do by using the Visual Editor which annoying strips out all of my entered and essential HTML.

This plugin does the job just fine.

In a perfect world, WordPress would not strip out HTML code, but we don’t live in a perfect world so until WordPress corrects this stupid process I will keep using this plugin.

I’m not sure how you would use this plugin if you wanted to add more than one area of HTML to a page/post though, hence the reason I’m giving this a four star rating. If the plugin in developer can incorporate this into the plugin and add instructions I’ll give this a five star rating. Good job with the plugin so far anyway devs!

    Hi,

I’ve now incorporated multiple body html elements into a page.
You can use the syntax: [body id="element1"][/body], where “element1” is the name of a custom field to insert.

So you can make as many custom fields as you like and then reference them in different places in that page.

This is available in version 0.5 of the plugin.
