This one is easy to use. The official one is a bit more difficult to learn at first. The official one does have a few more options, but for most scenarios, this plugin works well, specifically:

Different Rates to Different Countries

Want to charge Canada $5 / order and the US $10 / order? You can do that.

Want to charge Germany, England and Italy $50 shipping / order but the rest of the world nothing? Easily done.

Different Rates Based on Weight

Want to charge $1 shipping if the cart’s total weight is only 1 kilo, but $5 shipping if the weight is over 1 kilo? No problem.

You can add in multiple entries, like:

0lbs – 10lbs, $5 shipping
10.1lbs – 15lbs, $7.50 shipping
15.1lbs or more, $15 shipping

Add any weights or dollar amounts you’d like, and you can combine this with the country filters, too.

So you can charge different amounts based on weight & country at the same time.
