• Hi I am a Events Manager Pro customer and I’m trying to figure out how to trigger a Zapier.com “Zap” when a customer makes a booking into an event.

My ultimate goal is to pass the customer details across to Xero.com to automate the creation of invoices. Each booking triggers the creation of one invoice

Zapier connects to most things including a bunch of wordpress integrations, it apparently plays nice with the Hookpress Plugin.

Any tips on how to get this working.. or other approaches?

    Cheers
    Nick

If we get this working it would also allow a lot of other integrations like building email marketing lists in Mailchimp, spreadsheets in Google docs, customer databases in all the major CRMs like Salesforce etc etc

Here a good article that shows what kind of integrations this would allow Event Manager to connect to https://blog.bufferapp.com/big-list-zapier-hacks-marketers

Ok.. i’ve given up trying to do it with webhooks/hookpress and instead now I’m using Zapier’s email parser and sending booking confirmation emails from events manager to it.

It’s not exactly elegant. For instance i can’t specifically send just the booking confirmation emails without also directing cancellation, pending etc emails. Well not without blocking the sending of those notifications completely.

    Works for now though

I would love to further discuss this with you. I too am trying to make this work. I want it to autocreate my Zoom webinar but the Zap doesn’t find the Event date or time. I run astUtemy.com so I’m a Xero partner. I may or may not be able to help you. If interested, drop me an email to eric at the URL and we can chat further and maybe help each other.
