Support » Plugin: W3 Total Cache » Working with Display Posts

  • Hello!

I have read through many of the support questions, but wasn’t able to find the answer to my problem. I’m displaying a relatively large number of Display Posts instances on one single page, about 50 of them, all fetching posts from different categories. Which means it takes a few seconds to refresh or open this page, since I suspect it first needs to fetch all the posts before finally displaying them.

Therefore I looked into W3 Total Cache, to have it serve fast html page caches. But it doesn’t seem to do the job, because, as I understand it, W3 only caches the code. So when someone goes to the page, they get a super fast html page cache, not helping much though since it afterwards still need to fetch 50 different Display Posts.

Is there any way to have W3TC activate the Display Posts shortcodes before caching the page?

Thanks for your help in advance!
