  • Anyway, you may download and enjoy my modified version from http://13mhz.kapa.pl/en/download/?did=109

If you’re going to update this plugin, please put back the feature to hide the WordPress version that was taken away in version 2.0. Here’s a few other tweaks that I think would be useful too:

    1) A frame breaker (to break your site out of other people’s frames).

    2) An update nag hider, or even better, the ability to individually disable core, theme and plugin updates completely.

    3) A date registered column for the registered user list (so users can be sorted by date).

I currently have several small plug-ins to add these features – it would be nice to have them all in one plugin.

I would like to implement login with email, custom login page, user rights, tags on pages and other useful small plugins into WordPress Tweaks 3.0, but in the meantime i hope to contact the author, John Lamansky to ask him is it ok with him. If you have any other ideas, feel free to write about it here.

I almost forgot: please bring back the “disable Flash uploader” feature from 2.0 and earlier too – this is still useful with WordPress 3.1 and 3.2. And please make sure it stays compatible with 3.1. 🙂

If you still haven’t been able to contact the author, why not fork it? Call it “WordPress Tweaks Extended” or something like that.
