I have the plugin correctly installed and configured. I’m using a plugin that sends out emails to those on a waitlist when a product becomes available. When I change the inventory on the product from zero to any positive number, the email is sent to those on the waitlist. Using the regular PHPMailer, it was fast and sent out as many as 400 emails immediately. (Of course, some were not getting the email as their ISP was blocking them, hence my switch to this plugin.)

So I just updated inventory on an item with 300 on the waitlist. Instead of the waitlist count changing from 300 to zero, it went down to 60 or so. I had to kick off the process again by changing the inventory quantity-on-hand two or three times to get the waitlist down to zero.

It also seemed to “clock” and take quite a bit of time to send them out as compared to PHPMailer.

But the Sent Mail folder only shows 123 emails sent, not the 300.

Is there a limit? Can you provide some insight as to what happened?

    Thank you.

Hi, Did you use OAuth2 authentication with PHPMailer before? There is no limit on the plugin side. So It must have something to do with your server.

No I have not. I will check with my host.

Is it normal for it to take quite a bit of time to send the emails? The small icon in WordPress was “spinning” for at least two minutes while sending the emails.

It should send the email almost instantly. If it takes 2 minutes it’s probably having some issuesing making a connection from your server to the gmail server.
