Support » Plugin: Email Subscribers & Newsletters » Worked GREAT! until they updated it

  • I just got my blog transferred over to my own domain. After tinkering with the site and doing extensive beta testing over three days, I launched the site! Everything was great! I had new subscribers signing up! I published a new article a day later! Everybody got notified! Everything was great!

    And then they “upgraded” to Ver. 4.0. All of my subscribers vanished! They fixed that problem but several other issues remain, and I prefer the version I used initially: 3.5.18. It’s elegant, the user interface is simple and intuitive. I’m sticking with it and disabling the auto update feature.

    Hi,

    We have fixed many issues since we released Email Subscribers 4.0. Request you to upgrade to the latest version and check once again.

    It should work as it was.

    Hi.
    It wasn’t just the glitches that were a problem. I don’t like the new, unintuitive user interface at all. Is there a way to turn off the auto-update feature? I prefer to continue using v. 3.5.
    Thanks,

    @1969roamer46 ,

    You can rollback to Email Subscribers 3.5.18.
    Here are the instructions.
    And then turn off the WordPress auto-update.
    Here are the instructions.
    Let me know how it goes?
    Also if that works for you I request you to revise the review for at least old version.

    Thanks. I reverted to the older version, turned off the auto-update, and revised my initial comment.
