 * I just updated my WordPress to v3.5.2 and where previously when I ran the scanner
I got 9 “severe” matches now I get 380. A ton of them seem to be “Unknown file
found in wp-includes/ or wp-admin/ directory”, although from what I can tell
the files look fine. Is there any possibility that the upgrade to v3.5.2 caused
this problem? Is anyone else seeing this. This plug-in has been amazing so I’d
love to make it work properly. Thanks for the help!

 * Same here. I also get:
 * “hashes-3.5.2.php missing
The file containing hashes of all WordPress core files
appears to be missing; modified core files will no longer be detected and a lot
more suspicious strings will be detected”
 * – and indeed, there is no such file yet in the latest version. Alarming at first,
but I guess this is the reason…?

 * Same thing here. Glad I am not the only one. 410 severe matches with 3.5.2

 * You need updates a hashes file, you can get it here or wait for an update to
   the plugin:

 * Many thanks. I found there’s also a copy in the dev’t version on the plugin downloads
   page. 🙂

 * Thank you, Mattyrob. I’m not confident enough to update that hashes file myself,
so perhaps it’d be best to wait for the update. I’m concerned that trying it
myself will create more problems than it solves.

 * OK, fixing this was easy. For anyone who’s curious, download hashes-3.5.2.php.
txt using the link above, rename it to hashes-3.5.2.php and then upload it to
   public_html/wp-content/plugins/exploit-scanner. That’s it.

 * Thanks for how to fix it. But where’s the plugin developer on this? Update please?
