Work Around Until Buffers areAdded

I mentioned in an earlier thread that I need travel or room prep buffers before and after the appointments. I see that the feature will not be available soon which is unfortunate. Is there anyway I can force un-available time slots before and after appoints? I reviewed the documentation and it was not clear. I tried it using connections and it did not work.

Any suggestions? Not having this functionality and the details required to set up all the connections when you offer a lot of services are the only negatives I have found with this plug in.
