 * Occasionally, our church office manager will get an HTTP error when trying to
upload the MP3 file (about 35MB) of the Sunday lesson. Last time, she handed
off the file to me. (Turning off plugins doesn’t help.) I got it uploaded via
FTP. Then I used a load-from-server plugin to “tell” WordPress the file was there.
I’ve Googled this endlessly. Some people see this with image files; not our problem.
Others have said the temp folder on the site may be full, but GoDaddy support
didn’t respond to my emailed question. Our max allowable upload is 50MB.
 * What would help me most is being able to get around the fact that our cheapo
account at GoDaddy doesn’t allow log access. If I could see more than the simple“
HTTP error” text in the admin dashboard, I could do my own diagnostics.

 * I wasn’t able to force error logging by using the wp-config method, so I enabled
Debug. Data from that suggests a problem with WP Media Folder plugin. I have
opened a ticket with Joom United.

 * Did you try just uploading from the media library without the plugin?

 * Just tried that, and it was successful! (Oddly, another file that I thought had
failed to upload last week was suddenly visible.)
 * Shall I interpret this as my media plugin misbehaving?
 * Or … “other” ?

 * If you got the plugin here try the support page on the plugin page. Otherwise
it does look like there is a problem with that or another plugin that interferes.
 * Turn them all off and see if the media plugin works.

 * OK; I’ve been on another project and was slow responding.
 * Thank you, I’ll do so!
