I’m not sure where I should post this. I’ve spent time here looking for answers, but I am actually using Buddypress 1.2.7 but my admin dashboard says a WordPress upgrade of 3.1.1 is available? The Buddypress forum has no questions pertaining to wordtube via the search function I just tried, and the Wordtube plugin author’s site says to go here for help!!! My problem is I have a multiple author site all users are authors at level 1 as the highest rights. I am also using the Custom Community 1.6.2 theme. The problem is, I do not want authors to be able to use other authors Wordtube playlists. If author #1 creates a playlist on how to record rock guitar, I wouldn’t want author #25 to add a video on how to bake pancakes while listening to jazz within this same playlist, that then gets posted on author #30’s post under the title “I hate Jazz and Rock”. How can this be fixed, I would hate to have to get rid of such a great plugin. Seems to me that some basic user level should be added here somewhere for this without the need for custom coding? To have to manually monitor this kind of nonsense would be a major undertaking for a large growing site. Also just wondering why a question like this is so hard to find anywhere on searches, I would think everyone who uses more than one author would want this kind of protection from possible rogue users.I’ve not seen this concern posted anywhere, point me to it if I have errored! or educate me as to why the opposite of this protection would be desired instead.
