Words disappearing from page for no apparent reason | WordPress.org

Recently a few words and some punctuation disappeared from our home page, and as far as I can tell, nobody had even logged around the time it happened.

The text was also missing in the backend editor.

Has anyone here ever heard of this happening? Or is it most likely human error?

It’s fixed now, of course, but the words had disappeared from the section right above “News and Alerts”, if that helps.

I tend to lean towards PEBKAC (Problem Exists Between Keyboard And Chair).

I think you might be right. If an entire section had disappeared, I could understand that, but just a few words is pretty strange.
