My current site is self-hosted. But what I don’t quite understand if I go to someones blog who uses wordpress. org my comments will appear under wordpress.org and not my own self-hosted. Their response never comes back to me only if I happen to reply to a question again do I see responses/comments waiting? No one has a site _on_ .ORG since .org hosts no sites; you have a self-hosted site. .COM sites enjoy the interconnected network of WP.com blogs which self-hosted sites are not a part of.
