 * How do I change my password on the wordpress.org site? I don’t seem to see a 
   link anywhere (I would have thought that it would be under “View Your Profile”)

   been around here a long time. Are you confusing the password here with the auto-
   generated password generated when your WordPress-powered site is first installed?

 * I’m talking about the password for this forum (my WordPress powered site is fine).
   Here’s the email I received when I signed up:

 * I have lost my original WordPress Password for my Site. The one that came with
   ADMIN as the user. I cannot find it and although I am informed that a new one
   has been sent to my email. I never receive it.

 * As for the password associated with this forum, an email is sent which is your
   only record. Passwords and usernames cannot be changed – sorry!
