WordPress.org or WordPress.com?

    Hello,

    I am in the midst of adding a WordPress blog to my site but I’m not sure whether I should get my blog from WordPress.org or WordPress.com. I am confused, are they totally different? Which one should I get?

    Thanks, any assistance with this matter would be appreciated.

    If you have an existing domain, then you will use the wordpress.ORG version of WordPress available via the download tab above. You will install that at the hosting account you already have.

    wordpress.COM allows you to create a free blog and not have to worry about installing or updating. An example of your URL at wordpress.com would be something like e_zone23.wordpress.com.
