WordPressin local

Hi to all!

I tried to carry my site”www.coast2coast.it” in local
so I backupped all the site and got a copy of DB.
Installed all this files and restored DB on my Xampp in local.
The problem was that once inserted the local url, WordPress started calling install.php
as it were a new installation. When i filled the form
(name site and my email) it started regularly, but don’t read any from the imported database and also from my imported wp-content…
Don’t understand… wordpress don’t have another DB except the one I have installed. Config.php is correctly configured, but my local site is empty as were a new installation!
Could somebody help me? Thanks!
